Doch ein genauerer Blick zeigt: Tauben sind mehr als ihr schlechter Ruf. Das Stadttauben-Projekt Stuttgart setzt seit vielen Jahren auf einen anderen Umgang &#8211; mit Tierschutz, Geburtenkontrolle und festen R\u00fcckzugsorten f\u00fcr die Tiere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Betreuung statt Vertreibung<\/h4>\n<p>Das Stadttauben-Projekt Stuttgart gibt es seit 2008. Gemeinsam mit der Stadt betreibt der Tierschutzverein Stuttgart mehrere betreute Taubenschl\u00e4ge im Stadtgebiet. Dort bekommen die Tiere regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Futter, Wasser und sichere Nistpl\u00e4tze. Die Taubenbetreuung tauscht au\u00dferdem die Eier der Tiere gegen Kunststoffeier aus. So wird Nachwuchs verhindert, ohne den Tauben zu schaden. Seit Ende 2008 bis Ende 2020 wurden in Stuttgart bereits \u00fcber 50.000 Eier ausgetauscht. Zus\u00e4tzlich k\u00fcmmert sich das Projekt um verletzte oder kranke Tauben sowie um verwaist aufgefundene K\u00fcken.<\/p>\n<h4>Gut f\u00fcr Tauben und das Stadtbild<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1517\">Das Konzept des Stadttauben-Projekts bringt Vorteile f\u00fcr Tiere und Menschen: Weil Tauben dem Ort, an dem sie br\u00fcten, ein Leben lang treu bleiben, verbringen sie einen Gro\u00dfteil ihrer Zeit in den Schl\u00e4gen. Dadurch landet auch deutlich weniger Taubenkot auf D\u00e4chern, Balkonen und Pl\u00e4tzen.
